Travel to the highlands of Scotland steeped in romantic history and then visit the famous Isle of Skye and view its stunning ancient landscape. 

Day 1

We will travel north through the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and across the tundra landscape of Rannoch Moor to the stunning Glencoe for lunch.

We will drive past Lochs and Mountains to visit Glenfinnan where Bonnie Prince Charlie landed in 1745 and which was also used in the filming of Harry Potter.

We will then cross over the water by ferry to the Isle of Skye and travel to your overnight accommodation.

Day 2

On the stunning Isle of Skye you have a choice of options to choose from such as :

  • Touring the scenic Trotternish peninsula with stops at Lealt Waterfall view point, Kilt Rock, the rock formations of the Quiraing and the Fairy Glen.

  • A visit to Dunvegan Castle and Gardens, home to the Clan MacLeod.

  • Talisker Whisky Distillery.

  • Neist Point Lighthouse and viewpoint.

  • A boat trip to Loch Coruisk for a walk with a chance of seeing some wildlife.

We then return you to your accommodation.

Day 3

We then leave Skye and travel towards the city of Inverness with photo stops at Eilean Donan Castle and the famous Loch Ness.

We then move on to visit Culloden Battlefield to hear about the last battle on British soil between the Jacobites and the government soldiers and how it changed the Highlands of Scotland forever.

After grabbing a light lunch, we then visit the 4000 year old standing stones of Clava Cairns and find out about their history.

You will then be dropped off at your accommodation to allow you to have some free time to explore Inverness for some shopping or to visit a local pub with the chance to hear some traditional music.

Day 4

After picking you up at your accommodation we will head south through the Cairngorm National Park with a stop at the old military barracks of Ruthven Barracks.

We then head onwards with a visit to Blair Castle which is still used as the home to the Duke of Atholl.

Next is a stop at the gorgeous village of Pitlochry for lunch and a chance to explore.

Our next stop will be a visit to the ancient Dunkeld Cathedral, which is still used today and lies on the banks of the scenic River Tay, and hear about its history.

We will the head south once more to drop you off at your accommodation.
