Loch Lomond and Stirling Castle

We depart from your ship and head towards the majestic Loch Lomond to visit the pretty village of Luss which lies on the banks of the loch.

We will then drive through Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park to visit some traditional Highland cows before having time for lunch in the village of Callander.

We will then have a photo stop at Doune Castle which was used in the filming of Outlander, Monty Python and Game of Thrones.

Then it is on to the old Royal residence of Stirling Castle to explore one of the finest castles in Scotland before heading back to your cruise ship.

Loch Lomond and Inveraray Castle

We depart from your ship and drive through Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.

You will have a photo stop at the fantastic view point of the Rest and be Thankful before visiting Inveraray Castle still used today as the clan seat of the Clan Campbell.

We then travel through the countryside past Kilchurn Castle and Loch Awe to the village of Tyndrum for lunch.

After lunch we head south along the shores of Loch Lomond and visit the pretty village of Luss which lies on its banks for time to explore and take photographs.

We will then return to your cruise ship.

Cruise Ship Tours from Edinburgh

Edinburgh City

This tour will involve a driving tour of Edinburgh with a guided walk of the famous Royal mile and can include visits to some of the following attractions -

  • Edinburgh Castle (self guided)

  • Holyrood Palace (Audio guide walk through)

  • The Royal Yacht Britannia (Audio guide walk through)

  • Rosslyn Chapel

St Andrews and the Kingdom of Fife

We depart from your cruise ship and head north over the famous Forth bridges and head for the ancient town of St Andrews, home of Golf and the oldest University in Scotland.

Here you can choose to explore the town, visit the golf museum or visit the the ruins of the castle and cathedral and let’s not forget that photograph on the famous bridge on the 18th fairway.

You then travel to the Kingsbarns whisky distillery where you can have some light lunch before taking a tour of how the ‘water of life’ is made followed by a tasting.

We will then head along the Fife coastal trail through scenic villages and coastline back to your ship.

Outlander Tour

We start the day by picking you up at your cruise ship and then travelling to several of the film locations from the series.

We will visit Jamie Fraser’s iconic ancestral home of Lallybroch where we can sit on the same steps as Claire and Jenny and reminisce.

We will visit the film set of Fort William where Jamie was flogged by Black Jack Randal and Jamie’s rescue of Claire from Black Jack’s clutches.

We will have time to explore Castle Leoch, the home to Colum and Dougal MacKenzie.

We will also visit the village of Cranesmuir where we will see Gellis Duncan’s house and also see where the young boy had his ear pinned to the post before seeing Castle Leoch Herb gardens.

We then return you back to your cruise ship.
